Image Description

Inspired by Dr. Temple Grandin's book "Different, Not Less," Merlin's KIDS is partnering with Dr. Temple Grandin to celebrate these individuals with the Merlin's KIDS Temple Grandin Achievement Award.
Have you or someone you know with autism achieved great goals by allowing their struggles or challenges to be their strength and inspiration?
We want to hear and be inspired by these stories, so please nominate yourself or another individual today!
There will be two people chosen for this award that have autism, ASD, or related developmental differences, people who have recognized and embraced their strengths to achieve what no one thought they could.
There are 2 categories, one for under the age of 21 and one for over the age of 21.
You may nominate yourself or someone else (If under 18 years of age, you must be nominated by an adult).
Please share this information with families, groups, foundations, organizations that may have a story.
Voting for the Winners:
You can vote daily for the story of your choice. Ask your friends, family members, co-workers, groups, organization, foundations to vote! Use the convenient sharing tools on the entry page!
The stories with the top 10 votes in each category will move to the final round.
Final Judging by Dr. Temple Grandin
Dr. Temple Grandin will review and choose the most compelling stories from the final round.
Since votes will move the story onto the final judging round, please share your submission often! Remember people can vote once per day.
The Winner will receive $1,000 plus a personal meeting with Dr. Temple Grandin when she is in your area!
Help us find these amazing candidates so we can show them the respect and appreciation they deserve.
